How to Install iOS 16 Beta 2 Profile on iPhone
If you have an Apple developer account:
- Open developer.apple.com via Safari on iPhone.
- Sign in with your Apple ID with a developer profile.
- Find iOS 16 beta in the available downloads and click Install Profile.
- Allow loading of the configuration profile.
If you have a regular account:
- Download the developer profile from Beta Profiles. To do this, open the link in Safari on iPhone and click iOS 16 → Install Profile.
- Allow loading of the configuration profile.
After that:
- Open the settings. The item “Profile loaded” should appear under the account data. Go to it and click “Install”.
- After restarting the smartphone, the option to download and install iOS 16 Developer Beta 2 will appear in the “Software Update” section of the settings.
Further, the principle of operation is the same as for a regular firmware update. Wait for the update file to download, click “Install” and wait for the smartphone to reboot. Done: you’ve installed the iOS16 beta.
In the case of iPad and iPadOS 16, the procedure is similar.
